e-Forensics

Combining the science of computer forensics with a tailored approach and best-practices methodology, e-Stet provides focused, synchronized and meaningful processes for ferreting out electronic evidence. Discover what is hidden beneath the surface.

The e-Stet Method:

e-Stet seamlessly integrates a sophisticated understanding of today’s legal procedures, utilizing advanced computer hardware and software tools, forensic analysts and litigation support specialists.

Collection:

e-Stet identifies, isolates and analyzes electronic evidence so that it may be efficiently reviewed and assessed. In each project, e-Stet will inform you of (i) what happened, (ii) when it happened, (iii) how it happened and (iv) who made it happen. Information that is not otherwise viewable, such as deleted files and fragments of data, can be found in the space allocated for existing files – known by computer forensic practitioners as “slack space”. e-Stet provides the tools and services to uncover what is hidden beneath the surface.

Forensic Investigation:

After physically isolating a set of computers, investigators make a digital copy of hard drives. The original computer is then locked in a secure facility and all investigations are undertaken using the digital copy using various applications to adequately assess the history of the data in question. To learn the true nature of what has happened to the data in question, latent data must be discovered and brought to light.

The e-Stet Advantage:

  1. Forensic engineers analyze all pertinent evidence and recreate vital events.
  2. Advanced data recovery services reveal data that is believed to have been deleted.
  3. Customized assistance is specifically tailored for individualized forensic analysis.
  4. Industry-leading mirror imaging technology preserves evidentiary integrity.
  5. Industry-standard chain-of-custody processes are strictly adhered to.
  6. e-Stet offers professional testimony and reporting for arbitrators, judges and juries.
